醫師誓詞(日內瓦) 1948

At the Time of Being Admitted as a Member of the Medical Profession:
‧ 醫師誓詞　 准許我進入醫業時：
‧ 醫師誓詞　 我加入醫界之際：

I SOLEMNLY PLEDGE myself to consecrate my life to the service of humanity.
‧ 我鄭重地保證自己要奉獻一切為人類服務。
‧ 謹鄭重宣示願奉獻自己畢生的心力為人類服務。

I WILL GIVE to my teachers the respect and gratitude which is their due;
‧ 我將要給我的師長應有的崇敬及感激；
‧ 我會尊敬並感激師長

I WILL PRACTICE my profession with conscience and dignity;
‧ 我將要憑我的良心和尊嚴從事醫業；
‧ 我從事醫業，憑良心與尊嚴；

THE HEALTH OF MY PATIENT will be my first consideration;
‧ 病人的健康應為首要的顧念；
‧ 病人的健康，我優先考慮；

I WILL RESPECT the secrets which are confided in me;
‧ 我將要尊重所寄託予的祕密；
‧ 病人的隱情，我必予以尊重；

I WILL MAINTAIN by all the means in my power, the honor and the noble traditions of the medical profession;
‧ 我將要盡我的力量維護醫業的榮譽和高尚的傳統；

MY COLLEAGUES will be my brothers;
‧ 我的同業應視為我的同胞；
‧ 我視同業如手足；

I WILL NOT PERMIT considerations of religion, nationality, race, party politics or social standing to intervene between my duty and my patient;
‧ 我將不容許有任何宗教、國籍種族、政見或地位的考慮介入我的職責和病人之間；
‧ 我對病人的服務，不因其宗教國籍、種族、政見，或地位有所差別；

I WILL MAINTAIN the utmost respect for human life, from the time of conception; even under threat, I will not use my medical knowledge contrary to the laws of humanity.
